1. TRAILERON® does not fit, do NOT attempt to use product! - If your seat post will not fit within TRAILERON®, you are attempting to place a Regular size TRAILERON® on a Large (31.6mm) seat post. Order Large size TRAILERON®. If your assembly looks like that shown in Figure 2, you have either - A) a Large size TRAILERON® on a standard size seat post, or B) a Regular size TRAILERON® on a small sized (22mm) seat post. If problem is A), order Regular size TRAILERON®. If the Regular size TRAILERON® is too big for your bicycle seat post and the product sags, call customer service, toll-free, 877-912-4929. If your assembly looks like that shown in Figure 3, the seat post release (or quick release) is located below the top of the rear tire. Do NOT attempt to use TRAILERON®! If your assembly looks like that shown in Figure 4, you have a bicycle with one of the newer, bent-style seat posts. Do NOT attempt to use TRAILERON®! If your assembly looks like that shown in Figure 5, the cart you are trailering is making contact with the rear bicycle tire. Do NOT attempt to use TRAILERON®! 2. Seat post is stuck within frame - Remove seat post release bolt or quick release. Spray a silicone-based lubricant at base of seat post. Try twisting seat and post rather than pulling it directly up. Call Superman if problem continues. Caution! Make sure you securely tighten seat post when replacing it. Place force of body weight on seat to make sure seat is secure. Do this before assuming riding position! 3. Handle is too big for groove - The groove is designed for cart handles less than 1 1/4" (31.8 mm) diameter. If the handle is under 1 1/4" and you are still having problems placing it within the groove, spray a small amount of silicone-based lubricant on handle and twist the handle within the groove. 4. Trailer or wagon handle makes contact with rear bicycle tire - Do not attempt to trailer your cart or wagon! The TRAILERON® is designed to work with carts longer than 3 feet. However, some carts, because of their bent handles, may be longer than 3 feet and still make contact with the rear wheel. 5. Large elastic band is too tight to place around cart handle and TRAILERON® - The large elastic band is designed to provide rotative movement of the trailer handle within the groove when riding, but not allow the handle to slide out. Always pre-stretch the band before placing around cart handle. 6. Elastic band is cracked or worn - Never use an oil-based lubricant on the elastic bands! This causes deterioration of the rubber. Never use elastic bands other than those supplied with the TRAILERON®. Please contact TRAILERON for replacement bands: TrailerOn, L.L.C., 8837 Croes Dr., Houston, Tx 77055 7. TRAILERON® slides past elastic band on seat post - You are probably using the Large size TRAILERON® on a small seat post. Contact TRAILERON for replacement product. 8. TRAILERON® is cracked or broken - Do not attempt to use product! Please Contact TRAILERON for replacement product. |
