TRAILERON®: Bike...Bring Stuff!
The TRAILERON® accessory for cyclists allows towing of wagons, pull carts and trailers.

Our primary goal is the safe transportation of you and your cart by bicycle. Therefore, please review the following BEFORE using TRAILERON®:

Figure 1. 1. Ensure proper cycle fit - The Regular size TRAILERON® is designed to fit the majority, BUT NOT ALL, of bicycles available. The Large size fits the newer, suspension style bikes with the large seat posts. Figure 1 (right) shows the normal, proper fit of TRAILERON®.

2. DO NOT USE TRAILERON® IF YOUR ASSEMBLY IS AS SHOWN IN FIGURES 2, 3, 4, OR 5 AFTER CART IS INSTALLED! (See TROUBLESHOOTING section for details) NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT IF TRAILERON® OR TRAILERED CART MAKES CONTACT WITH THE REAR BICYCLE TIRE!

3. DO NOT CART PEOPLE USING THIS DEVICE! TRAILERON® is designed to transport a cart or trailer. Do not attempt to pull children in wagons or strollers, or people on skates, rollerblades, or skateboards using this device.TRAILERON, L.L.C. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THIS DEVICE IS USED TO CART PEOPLE!

4. Do not cart loads greater than 35 pounds using this device! - TRAILERON® is designed to transport a cart or trailer with a total load weight not to exceed 35 pounds. Some multi-wheeled devices, such as power washers, lawn mowers, etc. may be too heavy to safely transport behind the bicycle. The cyclist rides at their own risk when trailering loads greater than 35 pounds!

5. Wear helmet when cycling - ALWAYS wear a helmet when cycling!

6. Remove all bicycle accessories attached to bicycle seat stem - To ensure the rotative movement of TRAILERON® is not hindered, remove all bike racks, water bottles, seat pouches, etc. that would otherwise hinder the movement of TRAILERON® about the seat stem.

7. Secure TRAILERON® to bicycle seat stem - Place both of the small elastic bands about the bicycle seat stem per installation instructions.

8. Secure cart handle always - Place the large elastic band about the cart handle per installation instructions to ensure the handle does not slide out.

9. Ride on wide paths only - Paths a minimum of four (4) feet wide are necessary to ensure rider safety. Bicyclists riding on paths with motor vehicle traffic ride at their own risk!

10. Park cycle with kickstand - The bicycle assembly (TRAILERON®, bicycle, and trailered device) does not stand on its own. An appropriate kickstand is required.

11. Check to ensure the trailer wheels are properly secured to the trailer - TRAILERON, L.L.C. is NOT responsible for the road worthiness of the cart or wagon you are trailering! We recommend carts with pneumatic (air-filled) tires. Some trailers and carts come with snap-on wheels. Always check to ensure these will not come off while transporting the cart by bicycle. Always lubricate the trailer wheel bearings with a silicone based spray (NOT WD-40) to minimize bearing erosion.

12. Adjust the handle of the trailered device for maximum clearance from rear bicycle tire - Many cart handles can be adjusted at the frame of the trailer, and should be adjusted for maximum clearance from the rear bicycle tire.

13. Avoid sudden braking when trailering cart - Because of the added towing weight, it takes more time to come to a complete stop, especially when trailering down large hills and riding on slick surfaces in wet weather conditions. Always Check To Ensure Bicycle Brakes Are Functioning Properly!

14. Avoid sharp turns and uneven surfaces when trailering cart - You will have a wider turning radius when trailering cart. Use extra caution!
